These kefir bread rolls require just two ingredients and deliver on both taste and texture. Made with Kerry Kefir, they’re naturally fermented and packed with gut-friendly goodness. Perfect for sweet or savoury toppings, they’re a versatile staple for any kitchen.

Ingredients
- 3 cups self-raising flour
- 2 cups Kerry Kefir
Serving Suggestions:
Sweet:
Serve with cream and jam, honey, or fresh berries.
Savoury:
Fill with avocado, eggs, cheese, or your favourite sandwich fillings.
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) / Gas Mark 6. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Mix the dough:
In a large bowl, combine the self-raising flour and kefir. Mix with a spoon or your hands until it forms a soft dough. - Shape the rolls:
Lightly flour your hands and divide the dough into 6–8 equal portions. Roll into balls and place on the prepared tray. - Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. - Cool slightly and serve:
Enjoy warm or allow to cool before slicing.
